Lead Sheets present tunes in their most basic format - melody and chord changes. They are the common language that jazz musicians use to share ideas with one another.
FIRST PLACE FOR JAZZ presents all 12 tunes in Lead Sheet format in every student book. All lead sheets are transposed for the individual instrument. Rhythm section books include standard lead sheets as well as accompaniment grooves.
LEAD SHEETS can be used by individuals wishing to hone their skills or small combos. Recorded accompaniment grooves are also included if a live rhythm section is not available. Click the playbar below to listen!
